Privacy Notice Page
Personal information The information we receive from customers helps us continually
improve your shopping experience. Here are the types of information we gather:
• Information You Give Us: We receive and store any information
you enter, on our Web site or send to us by email, with the exception of credit
cards details. We use the information for such purposes as responding to your
requests and improving the Barrington Sports site.
• Automatic Information: We receive and store certain
types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, we use "cookies"
which give us information about the computer you are using when your Web browser
accesses the Japco website. CookiesJapco uses cookies as part of the mechanism
to hold the contents of the shopping basket during each visit that you make
to the site. We know that there are alternatives to this, but none of them operate
as reliably as cookies. Please don't hesitate to e-mail us at info@japco.co.uk
if you have any concerns or comments.
Privacy policy Once you have registered with Japco, we will
never pass your details to anyone else.
We do collate statistics about site traffic, sales and other commercial information,
which we DO NOT pass on to third parties. These statistics do not include any
information, which can identify you personally. If we change our policy on disclosure
to others, we will inform you and give you the choice of opting out.
Modifying Information You can access your personal information
once logged in by clicking on the edit profile button at the top of the page.
This will allow you to modify your: name, email address, mailing address, password
etc. If you would rather we did not store any personal information or if you
are unable to modify your details, please email us and we will do our best to
help. Unsubscribing from our email list Japco’s policy is to allow users
to unsubscribe from our regular e-mails at any time.
Sometimes things go wrong; if this is the case please accept
our apologies. We are available on (+44) (0) 1327 844232 or at info@japco.co.uk
will assist you if the automatic process fails. There are a couple of reasons
why this may happen. Sometimes the unsubscribe link in the e-mail that we send
gets ‘broken’ in transit to you. If this has happened, try visiting
your account where you will be able to change your email settings.
If you have sent a message to Japco asking us to stop sending e-mails, and this
hasn’t happened, it may be because the e-mail address to which we are
sending them is not the same as the address you sent your request from. Please
check the address we are using and include this information in your request.
The easiest way to do this is to return to us the whole of the unwanted e-mail.
The address we are sending to is included at the bottom of the message.
